Eight regional members made the groups first ever trip to Loch Awe in Scotland at the end of September 2018. A 5 day trip with 3 days fishing. After a frustrating start when we were badly let down by the hotel boats, the situation was quickly sorted and another boat supplier was superb thereafter, we lost about 2 hours fishing. A total of 20 pike were caught. The fishing isn’t easy with weather conditions and depths changing at every turn. The scenery is stunning and we all enjoyed the adventure, learning a lot. It is planned to do the trip again next year.
